(Related to the May, 1958 notice above)We are just getting started and would appreciate it very much if you would recommend us to your readers of "SEARCH", "FLYING SAUCERS FROM OTHER WORLDS".
We will cover all phases of the saucer field, including the famous Shaver Mystery. Mr. Charles Marcoux who has done research on Shaver for 15 years will be writing exclusively for the UFO JOURNAL. At this very moment he is, "in contact with forces of an underground world". In a letter received February 7th he stated, "I have been invited into the ‘cavern world’ where I will spend a few days."
In the articles which will appear in the UFO JOURNAL, Mr. Marcoux will give proof of the existance of the Cavern World and the underground people.
This makes the rest of the saucer field a minor thing but just the same the UFO JOURNAL will print other phases of the UFO field.

Our group is known as the Saginaw U.F.O. Research Group. Our meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month, at 7:30 PM at the Butman Fish Memorial Library on Saginaw’s West Side. Our meetings are open to all interested people residing in Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland. We are affiliated with the Michigan Flying Saucer Federation of Detroit.
We would like to establish correspondence with all U.F.O. groups in the United States and abroad, who would give us information regarding the various phases of the U.F.O. phenomena. We will answer all letters received. In this manner, we feel a much greater and broader knowledge of the entire U.F.O. field could be achieved. This will also help in bringing all U.F.O. groups closer together, as a much greater harmony is needed among the various groups. Also, any information on the following would be appreciated: The Shaver Mystery, strange disappearances, sightings, odd happenings, contacts, etc. Also correspondence with Contactees would help us immensely.
If any group or person wishing to correspond with us, they could contact Joseph L. Wagner, 515 North Third Street, Saginaw 12, Michigan,

At the present time a great deal of confusion exists over Unidentified Flying Object reports. In order to gather facts and a clear picture of all aerial phenomena, the Unidentified Flying Object Investigations Bureau Civilian Intelligence was organized as an investigating agency to obtain accurate information from responsible sources and to determine and ascertain authentic sighting reports.
In order to obtain an accurate report of a UFO sighting, the UFOIBCI issues UFO Sighting Report Forms to be used in conjunction with sightings of unknown aerial objects. The Report Forms, when received by the Bureau, will be analyzed and given careful study and consideration.
The UFO Investigations Bureau Civilian Intelligence will maintain several divisions in order to deal with the different aspects and phases of a factual UFO sighting report. Each division is under the supervision of a UFOIBCI Special Investigator.
The UFOIBCI also maintains a one-hundred foot Observation and Detection Tower with facilities and equipment which can determine a true "unknown" from a conventional aircraft.
In order to deal with the UFO problem on an extensive basis, membership is opened to individuals who wish to represent the UFO Investigations Bureau. Members are issued membership as UFO Special Investigators. Credentials are issued to members and the necessary forms to obtain an accurate report from the member’s own area.
A membership fee of three dollars ($3.00) a year is required to become a member of UFOIBCI.

As a member you will receive a bi-monthly newsletter as well as special bulletins. If interested, write to CFSIB, 1410 Glendale Street, Midland, Michigan, 48642
June, 1965
Attention Communists, Facists, Nazis, and members or supporters of other such movements: We don’t want you! The CIVILIAN FLYING SAUCER INVESTIGATIONS BUREAU is interested in scientific, level-headed people who are able to use reason and logic. It is true that the CFSIB often criticizes the Government’s policy toward UFOs, but we do this only in a constructive manner, hoping only to increase, rather than retard, the growth and usage of democracy. If you have not been disqualified by the above restrictions and you are interested in scientific gathering and analysis of UFO data, write CFSIB, 1400 E. St. Andrews, Midland, Michigan, 48642

If you qualify, write today to the CIVILIAN FLYING SAUCER INVESTIGATIONS BUREAU. A sample copy of the CFSIB NEWSLETTER, our dynamic, fascinating publication may be had by sending 15 cents plus 4 cents postage to the CFSIB, 6101 Sturgeon Creek Pkwy., Midland, Michigan 48640.
