New Telescope Users Workshop Schedule and Skywatch Programs

What's that in the sky?

MUFON/MIMUFON members looking to get the most out of your telescope, the time has arrived!

New Telescope Users Workshop at Flint's Longway Planetarium
(a MIMUFON recommended non-MUFON activity)
Important: This is a hands-on workshop.  You must own and bring a telescope.

Information on the planetarium and the workshop can be found at:
http://www.longwayplanetarium.com/workshops.html   Please check this page for other activities and dates

Directions to the planetarium can be found here:
http://www.longwayplanetarium.com/maps.html

Spots fill up fast in these workshops, so, if you're interested, please register soon.

As there is no online registration option available, for registration information, call (810) 237-3400 or email workshop coordinator Robert Walker of the Longway Planetarium at rwalker@longway.org

We are hoping to have a good showing of MUFON members at this and future workshops so, if you own a telescope, please try to make it out.

Please be sure to mark future date for this workshop, April 2, 2005, on your calendar (and, in the meantime, as you must bring your own telescope for the workshop, a telescope is a wonderful item to add to your holiday wishlist if you don't yet have one).

Depending on member interest, we'd like to follow these workshops with some fun MIMUFON organized skywatches, starting in the springtime.

Should you have additional questions about the workshops, request further directions to the planetarium, or have thoughts to share on the idea of future skywatches, etc., please contact Michigan MUFON's Genessee County State Section Director/ MIMUFON Librarian David Bleicher at librarian@mimufon.org.  Also, if you plan to attend this or one of the other workshop dates, please inform Dave so that we know how many of us to expect.  Thank you.

Hope to see you there!
